The
Guana

A swim trunk for the hour the Atlantic turns gold — deep navy, tailored to a 7″ inseam, named for the wild shore north of the inlet.

Beneath the surface

Past the break, the world goes quiet. Everything we make begins down here — in the navy hush beneath the golden hour.

I — The object

Anatomy of the Guana

Deep navy, tailored to a 7-inch inseam — built to swim before breakfast and sit at the table by noon.

01

The dolphin mark

Embroidered low on the left leg in a single fluid line, after the pods that work the sandbar just beyond the break.

02

Flat waistband, metal-tipped drawstring

The waistband lies flat and the drawstring finishes in weighted metal aglets, so the trunk holds its line without bunching.

03

Interior mesh lining

The mesh lining is fine, breathable, and sewn flat — present everywhere, noticed nowhere.

04

Double snap closure

Two gold-toned snaps fasten the back waistband, so the trunk sits like a tailored short and stays put in the surf.

05

Snap-secured back pocket

A rear welt pocket with a snap, sized for a key, a card, or a shell you decide to keep.

06

Rear drainage eyelets

Eyelets at the back seat let the Atlantic out quietly, so the trunk leaves the water as composed as it entered.

II — The coast

Named for a wild shore

Ten miles of protected coastline north of St. Augustine — salt marsh, tidal creek, coquina stone, and the brown-gold Atlantic at first light. The Guana is cut for this world.

The water

88% polyamide, 12% elastane — the cloth moves when the water moves, and recovers when you stand.

ii

The cloth

Peach-finish hand, closer to washed cotton than swimwear. UPF 50+ is woven in, not coated on — it does not rinse away with the season.

The walk back

Quick-dry weave with rear drainage — it sheds the Atlantic before you reach the top of the dune walkover.

The namesake

The Guana River Reserve — brackish and slow behind a ribbon of dune, the rare stretch of Florida coast that still looks the way it did before anyone arrived.

v

The stone

Coquina — billions of small shells pressed by centuries into soft stone. The coast that names everything we make.
